During 2020, LEGO shook up its planning process. In former times, the company worked on a 4-year horizon, with clear long-term end goals. But when the pandemic arrived, they knew they had to do things differently. So they switched to weekly and biweekly scenarios and financial plans until the situation stabilised again.
