Michel Haesendonckx

Michel Haesendonckx is Global Solution Owner for FP&A at SAP SE with broad expertise in the area of Finance & Performance Management. He drives the go-to-market in this area for SAP and is highly involved in key innovation topics. He built his 25-year experience as an external auditor, controller and CFO, and extended his view in this field through his leadership position in FP&A in a globally operating consulting organization. Recently his first book on SAP S/4HANA Finance, addressing the business reasons for finance to embrace this solution was published.

Monte Swain

Professor Monte Swain is the Deloitte Professor at the BYU School of Accountancy. Since graduating from Michigan State University in 1991, Professor Swain has researched and taught management accounting at Brigham Young University. He is published in a number of scholarly and practitioner journals and is currently researching strategic performance measurement models and information presentation effects in balanced scorecards. In addition, he is an author of cases and textbooks in management accounting, and writes and consults on the effective use of strategy and strategic measurement systems in organizations. Professor Swain loves to teach and has been the recipient of a number of teaching awards at both BYU and MSU. In 2016 the Institute of Management Accountants recognized him with the IMA Brummet Distinguished Award for Management Accounting Educators. He is a licensed CPA, a Certified Management Accountant, a Chartered Global Management Accountant, and the senior author of the Wiley CMAexcel exam preparation system. Professor Swain took an academic leave from BYU from July 1999 to July 2000 to serve as the Chief Financial Officer for Authorize.Net (payment processing service for e-commerce, and serves regularly on the boards of for-profit and NFP organizations.

Robert Ycmat

Robert (“Bob”) Ycmat serves as Revere Health’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Bob has 20+ years of experience in healthcare finance. He came to Revere Health from the Palo Alto Medical Foundation (Sutter Health) in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he served as the medical group CFO. Bob previously served with Providence St. Joseph Healthcare, based in Anaheim, California as the Executive Director of Finance for their many California medical groups. Bob earned undergraduate degrees in marketing from the University of Utah, accounting from Western Governor’s University, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Brigham Young University.

Larysa Melnychuk

Larysa Melnychuk is a passionate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) professional and influencer who has held senior FP&A roles at leading organisations before setting up the International FP&A Board in 2013. The Board is a global and well-recognised professional think-tank that aims to bring together the knowledge and experience of senior FP&A professionals and aid the development of best practice in the profession.

In the last three years, she successfully expanded the Board into 27 chapters in 16 countries across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Australia, and North America.

Larysa is also the founder and CEO at the FP&A Trends Group (fpa-trends.com), the leading online resource for FP&A professionals. She chairs the Global AI FP&A Committee and runs a number of high-profile initiatives in the area of modern financial analytics.

Larysa holds a Master of Science degree in physics of materials and is a qualified chartered management accountant (CIMA), chartered global management accountant (CGMA) and is a holder of an FP&A certification. She is also a member of the exam content writing team for the Association of Finance Professionals (AFP) FP&A certification.

Larysa is also a passionate conference speaker and writes articles on various FP&A-related subjects.
