Bryan is the FP&A staff subject matter expert at the Association for Financial Professionals, a global not-for-profit focused on the success of the finance professional. AFP produces leading content through its conferences, certification, research guides, training, and networking.
Bryan creates and curates content to keep members current on developing topics and keep an eye on the future of the profession. He also manages the FP&A Advisory Council that acts as a voice to align AFP with the needs of the profession.
Bryan has more than 20 years of experience in the corporate FP&A and treasury space working at organizations like American Express, Fannie Mae and private equity-owned companies. He is also on the Global Advisory Board for The CFO Alliance. Bryan lives in suburban Washington, DC with his wife and two daughters.
Douglas Yeung
Douglas is a Senior Director, APAC Finance at Genesys.
Douglas spent 20+ years with Fortune 500 companies and startups in various finance and business roles. His industry experience includes software (SaaS), travel, e-commerce, FMCG, industrial automation and telecom equipment manufacturing. He has led FP&A teams for Asia Pacific headquarters in Hong Kong and Singapore and also worked in China and the United States. In addition to financing roles, Douglas has led APAC wide strategy and pricing teams and was appointed interim general manager of a well-known beauty brand’s China business.
Douglas has conducted finance training in different companies and also gave speeches to students at universities in Hong Kong and Singapore to promote a career in FP&A. Douglas holds an MBA from Rice University, a BBA in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin and also a BA in Philosophy from Birkbeck College, University of London. He is also a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Emma Martin
Emma is a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of experience in the marketing and communications industry. As a CFO and business partner, Emma has experience leading teams and driving positive change in the UK, Australia and several markets in Asia. Her current role is the Commercial & Finance Director for the WPP@Unilever team in Singapore.
Emma has a track record of lifting the capabilities and profile of the finance function from information crunchers to insight providers. She loves making it easier for people to do business by simplifying processes, unravelling complexities and supporting teams through change.
Emma is a regular speaker at local events on topics including digital transformation, the CFO as a business partner and how to attract, retain and grow future finance professionals.
Outside work, Emma is an alumnus of the FT Board Director program and is both a Finance Committee member and a Board member for Habitat for Humanity Hong Kong.
Jithu Varghese
Jithu is a seasoned enterprise performance management solution expert. His expertise includes solution advisory, business analysis, development, and training.
He has an executive MBA with a major in finance and has over 14 years professional experience in area that include solution advisory, solution architecture, project and vendor management, and implementation. He has successfully collaborated with companies in industries such as hospitality, insurance, retail, telecom, manufacturing, and more in the Asian and ANZ markets.
In his work within the Office of Finance for a large hospitality brand, he bridged the gap between IT and business users. He managed their in-house planning & budgeting solution used by over 250 Hotels across the Asia Pacific region.
With a strong focus on solutions for an organisation's pain points, proficiency in solution roadmaps, domain-specific solutions, and project management, he can help shape a shared vision which enables organisations to streamline and automate their existing processes which delivers business value to progress their Digital Transformation journey.
Paul Lennie
Paul is currently the Southeast Asia CFO of Asurion. Asurion helps 300 million people protect, connect and enjoy the latest technology.
Paul has previously held numerous Finance & Product roles in Asurion, including being one of the founding finance members of the Australia team, developing and growing the business.
Before joining Asurion, Paul was a Business Partner at TAL (a large Australian life insurance company) and PwC New Zealand, where he was a Manager in the Private Business department. Paul is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Chartered Financial Analyst.
