The traditional budgeting process is time-consuming and costly, neglecting strategy and adding little value. Despite evolving over the years, traditional budgets hardly meet the challenges of the modern economic and business environment.

At the Digital Nordic FP&A Board, we will discuss a prospective alternative to Traditional Budgeting. The meeting will be held on the 12th of May from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM CEST.

Join our experienced panel of speakers to learn how to move from Traditional to Better and Beyond Budgeting. We will debate whether it is realistic to abandon the budget and transform the whole process.

A recording of the event will be shared afterwards with everyone who registers.

What is International FP&A Board?

The International FP&A Board has chapters in 27 cities and 16 countries across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Australia, and North America. They aim to identify and support new global trends, valued skill sets and leadership practices in modern corporate Financial Planning & Analysis. 

The Digital Nordic FP&A Board will unite our chapters from Stockholm and Copenhagen.  We are also looking forward to inviting guests from other Nordic regions where the FP&A Board is not geographically established yet.​

Bob is a qualified finance professional (CGMA/ACMA) with extensive solution architect and client engagement expertise with cross sector experience in Enterprise/Corporate Performance Management (EPM/CPM) and BI.

Wil is an FP&A specialist with a track record of process improvement and implementing change in several multinational organisations. Wil currently leads the FP&A team at Honda of the UK Manufacturing which has been responsible for revolutionising the budgeting and reporting process through the creation of a truly integrated business planning system.

Chris Stiebel

Chris is an FP&A professional with over 10 years of experience within different FP&A roles ranging from junior analyst to Group CFO in a wide variety of industries. Originally a CPA from the US Chris moved to Stockholm, Sweden as a young accountant and immersed himself into the world of FP&A. Early in his career he realized the significance of technology and digitalization and started to develop a very special skillset that would lead him to senior finance roles. Today he works with a finance technology provider called Jedox in hopes of accelerating digitalization within the office of finance.

Mike Huthwaite

Thought leader in the area of Strategic Finance. A finance professional with 20 years of experience, Mike has worked for numerous mid-market and large multi-national organizations.
