Manoj Kumar Vandanapu is the Corporate Financial Controller at UBS.

Currently, Manoj is involved in projects that leverage AI/ML for financial automation and insights. One such project is the development of an Auto Commentary system through the integration of Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. This initiative is designed to automate financial reporting and analysis, significantly enhancing efficiency and accuracy in financial planning and analysis. The innovative use of AI in this project reflects my commitment to pushing the boundaries of financial technology and operational efficiency.

Manoj has authored scholarly articles published in major international journals on topics related to AI/ML, automation, and their applications in finance. As a peer reviewer for two international business journals and an editorial board member for five, I have actively contributed to the advancement of knowledge in these fields.

Moreover, his memberships in the Tactical Automation Group and Digital Finance Group at UBS underscore his proactive involvement in exploring and implementing finance automation and innovation ideas. These groups have been instrumental in assessing and deploying new tools and technologies to drive financial innovation. Their efforts have evaluated over 25 finance innovation ideas, showcasing our commitment to leveraging technology for strategic advantage.
