FP&A Trends Digest: Issue #52
Issue #52 - 04 December 2021
|
Dear colleagues,
Wherever you come from in the world, I am sure you have come across the expression: ‘A picture is worth a thousand words.’
Originally coined by Henrik Ibsen, versions of this adage are now found in multiple languages. That is probably because using visual imagery to communicate complex ideas is integral to human psychology.
Unsurprisingly, visualisation is an essential part of FP&A Storytelling, which is the theme for this issue. A vital skill to master, FP&A Storytelling depends not only on communication skills, but also on cleverly deploying technology and analytics.
In this digest, you will find a guide to effective FP&A Storytelling, an article on dashboards, and an exploration of the psychology behind data visualisation.
At the bottom, you will find the usual invitations to our upcoming digital events.
I hope that this issue helps you to say more with less!
Kind regards,
Larysa Melnychuk
