The current business and economic environment have fundamentally changed. As organisations continue to adapt to the world of "Unknown Unknowns", FP&A’s role has become increasingly more important:

  • The current world is full of outdated budgets.
  • Quick and flexible Scenario Planning and on-demand re-forecasting have become a "new norm".
  • Financial Planning and Analysis teams are adapting quickly and developing new "playbooks" to prepare for the future.

The first Digital Nordic-Benelux FP&A Board will be held online on November 17 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM CET. 

Join our experienced and international panel of experts to learn how to adapt FP&A to the "New Normal".

With the help of modern technology, we will make this digital meeting interactive by incorporating polling questions, Q&A sessions, and a survey. We will also have case studies and panel discussions.

What is International FP&A Board?

The International FP&A Board was created in London (UK) in 2013 to guide the development and promotion of the best practices in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). Since then, the Board chapters have been successfully established in 27 cities and 16 countries across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Australia, and North America. They aim to identify and support new global trends, valued skill sets and leadership practices in modern corporate Financial Planning & Analysis. 

Digital Nordic-Benelux FP&A Board will unite our chapters from Stockholm, Copenhagen, Brussels and Amsterdam.  We are also looking forward to inviting guests from other parts of the Nordic region where the FP&A Board is not geographically established yet.

Chris is an FP&A professional with over 10 years of experience within different FP&A roles ranging from junior analyst to Group CFO in a wide variety of industries. Originally a CPA from the US Chris moved to Stockholm, Sweden as a young accountant and immersed himself into the world of FP&A. Early in his career he realized the significance of technology and digitalization and started to develop a very special skillset that would lead him to senior finance roles. Today he works with a finance technology provider called Jedox in hopes of accelerating digitalization within the office of finance.

Anders Liu-Lindberg is the co-founder and COO (Chief Operating Officer) at Business Partnering Institute. He is an expert in driving value creation through changing FP&A. He has ten years of experience as a business partner at the global transport and logistics company Maersk.

He is also the co-author of the book “Create Value as a Finance Business Partner” and a long-time Finance Blogger on LinkedIn with 48.000+ followers and close to 100,000 subscribers to his weekly blogs.

Larysa Melnychuk is a passionate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) professional and influencer who has held senior FP&A roles at leading organisations before setting up the International FP&A Board in 2013. The Board is a global and well-recognised professional think-tank that aims to bring together the knowledge and experience of senior FP&A professionals and aid the development of best practice in the profession.

In the last three years, she successfully expanded the Board into 27 chapters in 16 countries across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Australia, and North America.

Larysa is also the founder and CEO at the FP&A Trends Group (fpa-trends.com), the leading online resource for FP&A professionals. She chairs the Global AI FP&A Committee and runs a number of high-profile initiatives in the area of modern financial analytics.

Larysa holds a Master of Science degree in physics of materials and is a qualified chartered management accountant (CIMA), chartered global management accountant (CGMA) and is a holder of an FP&A certification.
