In June 2022, the International FP&A Board restarted its face-to-face post-pandemic meeting in Frankfurt.
The main subject of the discussion was Reinventing FP&A: Key Lessons Learned from the Pandemic.
The International FP&A is grateful to Tanja Schlesinger, VP of Business Intelligence OneSource DB Regio AG and our FP&A Board Ambassador in Frankfurt, for being a great facilitator for the meeting.
The main lessons learned of the Frankfurt FP&A Board are:
- The pandemic accelerated the need for Scenario Management
- Digital FP&A was confirmed as sound basis for an extended FP&A (xP&A) by using modern technology
- We see emerging roles in FP&A with digital skill set
Agenda:
- FP&A for the “Next Normal”
- Top lessons learned from the Pandemic
- Practical examples and case studies
- Small groups work
- Conclusions and recommendations
Christian Schürr, ex-Director FP&A at Dentsply Sirona, deep-dived into practical experience and a case study on lessons learned from the pandemic.
