FP&A in a small sized business is different than in a large, corporate firm. While one can argue that we all face a lack of time and resources, there often is no dedicated FP&A function in a smaller enterprise. FP&A team members in a smaller firm are wearing many more hats than FP&A. Again, we don’t have too many people that report to us (if any) that are analysts.
Mason Brady
Mason Brady holds an International MBA from IE Business School in Madrid, Spain and is fluent in Spanish. He is also a CMA holder and is currently in pursuit of the FP&A certification.
Mason holds years of experience in finance and supply chain management in the fresh produce industry. He started in the industry at 20 years old as a Quality Control Manager and is now the Director of Finance & Supply Chain for Homegrown Organic Farms, a marketer and shipper of organic citrus, blueberries, grapes, and stonefruit.
Mason is a leader and developer of systems that enable growth for companies. He oversees a team with direct responsibility for the organic and food safety compliance, accounting, forecasting and budgeting, quality control, and materials and supplies procurement for Homegrown Organic Farms.
