The future can no longer be predicted based on only historical data since we are living in the environment of “Unknown Unknowns”. Traditional management accounting methods are no longer sufficient for planning and forecasting. To help navigate this challenge, we must turn to Scenario Planning to guide us.

Scenario Planning is one approach that allows us to make decisions quickly based on real data. It is the key to evaluating what is possible. Now Scenario Planning is evolving to a powerful “Scenario Management” process that is incredibly important for facilitating the decision-making process.

Digital Middle Eastern FP&A Board will unite our Board members in Dubai. We are also looking forward to inviting guests from other parts of the Middle East where the FP&A Board is not geographically established yet.

What is International FP&A Board?

The International FP&A Board was created in London (UK) in 2013 to guide the development and promotion of the best practices in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). Since then, the Board chapters have been successfully established in 27 cities and 16 countries across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Australia, and North America. They aim to identify and support new global trends, valued skill sets and leadership practices in modern corporate Financial Planning & Analysis.

Finance Director with over 20 years of experience in Financial reporting (Internal, External, PLC, Board), FP&A, Performance Management, Systems Implementation, Multinational Project managements, Transformation & Change Management, M&A, BPO & SSC.

Experience working in different company sizes ranging from Start-ups to large PLC and PE backed and experience working in various different sectors including manufacturing, retail, pharmaceutical, FMCG & Practice.

Founder member of the London International FP&A board regularly delivering talks on FP&A related subject matters.

Jose Nazario

Finance professional with more than 18 years of experience in several leadership roles in Global companies (Citigroup, Barclays, Portugal Telecom) across several geographies (London, New York and Portugal) and sectors (Banking and Telecom). Currently FP&A Head – Planning and CCAR (Director) in the Global Consumer Bank (GCB) business in Citibank, in New York, responsible for the Long Term Planning and Stress Testing/CCAR for GCB across North America, Asia, and Mexico.

Chris Rea

Chris leads the Michael Page Saudi Arabia Finance and Technology team. He has a total of eight years of recruitment experience and has spent the last five recruiting senior appointments in KSA.

Before joining Michael Page and relocating to the Middle East, Chris attended The University of Leeds studying Philosophy and Classics.

Ramkumar Balasubramaniam

Ram is a CFO with 2 decades of progressively senior experience. He has successfully led functional teams in International banks with responsibility for the overall finance function, financial reporting, financial control, regulatory reporting and performance management. He has led strategy development and is an expert at driving business growth by providing insights to manage risk and grow revenues, increase efficiencies and reduce cost, evaluate capital allocation and improve returns. He is an analytical thinker, adept at ‘Telling the Story’ and inspiring a data-driven decision making culture and possesses strong people management skills. He is actively engaged with the wider finance community as a speaker and panel member at Finance conferences, FPAC exam development member and pro bono consultant.

Bindita Baksi

Bindita is a Consultant within the Finance and Accounting team for Michael Page in Dubai. She specializes in the recruitment of finance and accounting assignments across Retail, Pharma, FMCG, Professional Services, Hospitality sectors within UAE, KSA and Northern Gulf.

Bindita started her recruitment career at Michael Page and has over three years of Recruitment experience. She was raised in Dubai and completed her Master's in Business Management from Warwick Business School, Unversity of Warwick, before joining Michael Page.

Aravinda Tiwari

Aravinda is CFO for IQVIA Africa, Middle East and South Asia. He is a qualified CA, CS, ACCA IFRS with 15+ Years’ experience in managing Large-Medium-Small size Matrix Reporting operations within Africa, Middle East and South Asia. He holds diverse experience in the Manufacturing and Service Industry across Controllership, Financial Planning & Analysis and Finance Transformation Roles with Successive Fast Track Career progression in High Growth markets building strong Finance teams managing Multimillion-dollar businesses. Prior to IQVIA, he worked with United Technologies, Genpact, GSK & Tata Steel.

Arun Sadagopan

Arun Sadagopan is Director of MEA for Jedox. Prior to this, he was working for Oracle for the last 5 years as Territory Sales Manager for UAE & Oman. Arun has been in the EPM & BI space from 2011 with predominant experience in implementing and selling Oracle EPM through his experience in companies like Oracle India, Hyperion Services Middle East, Qubix International and Oracle UAE.
