Michael joined the FP&A Trends Group Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning Committee in 2024. He currently serves on the board of directors of Scrum Alliance and is the Chair of the Audit & Finance Committee. Michael is a Vice President of Finance and CFO of Allianz Technology in the United States. Before that, he led the Global Accounting & Tax function at Allianz Technology in Europe. Michael held various finance roles, from leading M&A projects for transactions of up to $800M and SAP ERP implementations to reviewing technical accounting for complex business transactions. He holds an MS in Finance from DHBW Stuttgart and completed the Stanford Graduate School of Business SEP program. He was recognised as a Future Finance Leader by the Institute of International Finance.
