Melanie Tekath is Vice President, Controller & Finance Head for Ahlstrom’s Food & Consumer Packaging division, where she leads financial planning and analysis, controlling, governance, and business performance management. She has nearly two decades of experience in global manufacturing, with finance leadership roles across North America and Europe.

Melanie’s experience includes building shared service organisations, supporting major acquisitions, and improving business performance. She is interested in translating financial data into practical business decisions and helping leaders turn strategy into action.

Her professional interests include FP&A, finance transformation, and leadership development. She also serves on the Board of FEI Eastern Wisconsin, the NWTC Accounting Advisory Committee, mentors emerging leaders through Women in Manufacturing, and speaks to university students about finance and leadership careers.
