Saurabh Jha
Saurabh Jha's work generally involves vision-language and grounded language generation with a focus on how to evolve machine intelligence towards human-machine partnership, driving positive goals. This includes leading a team that research on helping computers to communicate based on what they can process - like extracting data from digital documents, having a conversation through Natural Language Generation, as well as projects to create assistive technology from state of the art in AI.
His work combines computer vision, natural language processing, time series, many statistical methods, and insights from cognitive science.
In a nutshell, Saurabh has worked on: deep learning, structured learning, shallow learning, natural language generation, conversation, image captioning, visual question answering, and storytelling (Grounded Language), digital human, Document Intelligence, Conversational AI.
He has also worked on Information Management - Enterprise Data Warehouse design, IBM & Teradata Industry Logical Data Models, Dimensional and Data Vault Modeling, Enterprise Data Modeling and defining data strategy and Data Governance Roadmap for Enterprises.
Saurabh founded the Applied AI & Engineering team at Customer & Financial Services group at Dell Technologies in 2020. Driven Overall impact of $100M through his CoE. In the past, he has co-founded multiple data science teams.
