The AI/ML FP&A Committee Meeting #24 on September 10th, 2024, featured a presentation, "CFOs / Finance Professionals in the Age of AI - Microsoft Case Study", by Takeshi Murakami, Country CFO - Thailand / Vietnam at Microsoft.

Takeshi shared how AI is transforming finance at Microsoft, highlighting why change is essential for future success. He emphasised that AI not only improves efficiency but is crucial for adapting to today’s complex demands.

Additionally, Takeshi discussed the business value of generative AI in finance, how Microsoft is fostering a learning culture to embrace AI-driven changes and their initial insights on people, processes, data, security and compliance from their AI journey.
