FP&A Trends Digest: Issue #125
Issue #125 - 26 October 2024 |
| Dear colleagues, The way we work has undergone a profound transformation in recent years, and hybrid working is now the norm for many. A recent LinkedIn poll shows that 73% of finance teams operate in a hybrid model, blending both in-office and virtual work. This shift is not just about where we work — it’s fundamentally changing how we collaborate, manage and lead teams, and build corporate culture in new and evolving ways. As we navigate this era, our business partnering models should also adapt — leveraging AI, embracing remote collaboration and adopting fresh skills, techniques and technologies to thrive. In this issue, I am excited to share our just produced Insights Paper, “FP&A Business Partnering in the Age of AI”, which explores the impact of these changes and provides actionable strategies to strengthen business partnerships. Additionally, you’ll find articles focused on distributed teamwork, building effective partnerships, and creating synergy within your teams. While hybrid work offers flexibility, there are moments when in-person collaboration is essential, and having access to inspiring, well-equipped spaces becomes key. For our International FP&A Board meetings, we are fortunate to enjoy the beautiful premises provided by our partners, creating the perfect environment for productive discussions. A warm thank you to the IWG teams for their ongoing collaboration worldwide, offering us the ideal settings for our events. As a special benefit, all members of our FP&A community are now eligible for a 10% discount at any of IWG’s 4,000 locations worldwide, offering flexible and convenient solutions for your professional needs. I hope this issue inspires you to enhance your team’s collaboration and performance. Best regards, Larysa Melnychuk, CEO and Founder FP&A Trends Group & International FP&A Board |
