Michael Emerson is CTO for the extended planning and analysis portfolio at SAP. Previously, he has provided strategic guidance to various product development areas, including the Business Technology Platform, Financial Planning & Analysis, and also for the line of business Finance. He was also a Chief Product Strategist for the Product & Innovation board office, where he contributed to the formulation of SAP’s Intelligent Enterprise strategy. Before joining SAP, Michael worked at Société Générale Corporate Investment Banking in Paris. He studied Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Edinburgh, and obtained an MBA from the Sauder School of Business, UBC. In 2018, he attended the Leading Product Innovation executive program at Harvard Business School.
