Furthermore, there are some signs that point to the creation of two new positions that will greatly expand FP&A's total capabilities and influence.

What is the International FP&A Board?

The International FP&A Board was created in London (UK) in 2013, and now has chapters in 27 cities and 16 countries around the world. It aims to develop and promote the best practices in modern corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), identifying and supporting new global trends, valued skillsets, and leadership practices. 

The Digital German FP&A Board will unite the members of the Frankfurt FP&A Board chapter. We also look forward to inviting guests from other parts of Germany where the FP&A Board is not geographically established yet.

Finance Director with over 20 years of experience in Financial reporting (Internal, External, PLC, Board), FP&A, Performance Management, Systems Implementation, Multinational Project managements, Transformation & Change Management, M&A, BPO & SSC.

Experience working in different company sizes ranging from Start-ups to large PLC and PE backed and experience working in various different sectors including manufacturing, retail, pharmaceutical, FMCG & Practice.

Founder member of the London International FP&A board regularly delivering talks on FP&A related subject matters.

Alistair Gurney

Group FP&A Director at Unit4

Alistair leads the Unit4 FP&A team. He trained and spent the early years of his career in Deloitte’s Corporate Finance team before moving into a variety of FP&A and finance director roles in private equity-backed businesses.

He is focused on bringing FP&A into the heart of the corporate decision-making process by providing insightful analyses, and, perhaps more importantly, building the bridges between the wider finance team and the commercial operators around the business who could benefit from it.

Marc De Haas

Marc is currently the finance director for Cargill’s global Cocoa & Chocolate business. He joined Cargill in 1995 starting as a financial management trainee in Amsterdam (NL). After his traineeship, he joined the strategy and business development group in Minneapolis (USA) and worked on several regional and global strategy and M&A projects. After working in Minneapolis Marc held senior finance and leadership positions in Ukraine, Switzerland, Singapore and Belgium. In 2016 he returned back to the Netherlands to join the newly formed global Cocoa and Chocolate business. Marc has an economics degree from the VU University in Amsterdam and has extensive experience in holistically managing, building and right-sizing businesses.

Emmanuel Steels

Emmanuel is a European CFO with more than 27 years of Experience. He is mainly focused on Professional Services Companies (Research/Financial/IT). Emmanuel is active since August 2016 at Business and Decision.
