AI FP&A Committee Meeting #27
June 4, 2025

At the AI FP&A Committee Meeting #27 on June 4, 2025, Atif Hafeez, CFO at Quantanite, shared a presentation, "The Unseen Cultural Shifts: Practical AI Case Study."

Atif Hafeez delivered a thought-provoking presentation on how AI is not just changing finance operations but reshaping workplace culture. Rather than focusing on tools or performance metrics, he explored how AI quietly rewires how teams think, decide, and collaborate.

He emphasised that AI’s greatest impact lies beneath the surface, transforming routines, behaviours, and even team identity. Atif introduced the idea of “digital workers” collaborating with human staff, not to replace them but to augment their roles. He stressed that the key to success lies in cultural adaptation: building trust, mentoring across generations, and fostering psychological safety.

The presentation ended with an engaging Q&A session. The discussions highlighted challenges like implementation, accountability, and skills development. Finance leaders also reflected on the human side of AI adoption and the leadership it demands.
