What is the International FP&A Board?
The International FP&A Boardwas created in London (UK) in 2013 to guide the development and promotion of the best practices in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). We now have Board chapters in 27 cities and 16 countries across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Australia, and North America. They aim to identify and support new global trends, valued skill sets and leadership practices in modern corporate Financial Planning & Analysis.

Hans Gobin, FCCA, MBA
Finance Director with over 20 years of experience in Financial reporting (Internal, External, PLC, Board), FP&A, Performance Management, Systems Implementation, Multinational Project managements, Transformation & Change Management, M&A, BPO & SSC.
Experience working in different company sizes ranging from Start-ups to large PLC and PE backed and experience working in various different sectors including manufacturing, retail, pharmaceutical, FMCG & Practice.
Founder member of the London International FP&A board regularly delivering talks on FP&A related subject matters.
Paul Barnhurst is an FP&A director with over 10 years of experience working in finance at large multinational companies including American Express, Solera and Digicert. Paul currently works at Digicert as the Director of Finance Sales Operations and Analytics.
Paul earned his undergraduate degree in business from Brigham Young University and a dual masters degree from Arizona State University. Paul works in FP&A because he loves helping a business achieve its financial objectives through helping them plan and by serving as a partner for the business.
Paul loves training and working with employees to help them learn and grow in their careers. Paul is blessed to have a wonderful wife and daughter. In his free time, enjoys spending time with his family, going on hikes, watching sports, and learning some new cool Excel Tricks.
Eric Smit
Eric Smit is leading the Global Center of Excellence for Planning & Analysis. The COE team consist of senior advisors that help customers improve business results with solutions that integrate business intelligence, financial & planning and analysis, machine-learning and predictive analytics capabilities.
Eric has over 25 years of experience in delivering analytics and finance transformation to customers globally in various roles at SAP, Oracle and Hyperion. He has deep knowledge of the challenges organizations face within Finance like Reporting, Planning and Analysis, Profitability, Closing the books and Data Management. He has been instrumental in helping organizations understand the value of adopting best practices for a World-Class Finance, reducing Finance FTE’s and Finance cost, truly allowing finance to become a strategic partner to the business.
Eric was part of the original team to kick of the SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) solution in 2016 with a particular focus on the planning functionality and has been instrumental in helping to make SAC one of the fastest-growing solutions today in SAP.
Eric holds a degree in Economics with a major in Management Information Systems and combines finance and accounting expertise with a deep understanding of both the functional and technical aspects of the SAP Analytics offering.
Karin Aalbertsen
Karin Aalbertsen is a finance executive with 20 years of global finance experience build up in multinationals like Philips, Signify and RPM Inc. She is experienced in all Finance areas, however the areas she likes most are manufacturing and supply chain. In her current role she is head of Finance Benelux and Nordics and group manufacturing controller in Construction Products Group Europe, part of RPM Inc. She holds a master degree in Finance at Tilburg University where she graduated cum laude. In addition she holds a degree in TIAS business school as Executive Master in Finance and Control.
Anastasia Kagiampini
Anastasia Kagiampini is a Sr Global FP&A Director at Revlon company. She has over 15 years of experience in Financial planning and Reporting, Commercial Finance and Finance Transformation. She has been working in FMCG industry holding various roles in finance with companies like Colgate-Palmolive and Kellogg’s. During her years of experience, she is being recognized as problem solver, change agent and strong business partner.
Anastasia is passionate about developing people while her leadership vision for FP&A is to instill the “CFO” mindset everyday-everywhere.
